There is no Cheetah to visit on the star chart. What you are looking for is a technique, a mindset, a way of flying that turns any orbit in the KSP system into a pursuit scenario.

The essential parameters: you want a low-perigee approach (think 50–200 m above the surface for Mun or Minmus, or just above the atmosphere for Kerbin), a high closing velocity relative to the target, and a fuel budget that leaves you zero margin. The orbital period of your target body dictates your window; the gravity well dictates your minimum safe altitude. For the Mun, that is roughly 50 m. For Kerbin, you are fighting 1.004 g and a 70 km atmosphere, so the Cheetah profile is more about a steep, fast intercept than a surface-skim.

Notable 'terrain' in a Cheetah run is not geological but mechanical: the structural stress limit, the thermal limit on your engines, and the 1.5-second reaction window you have before a small attitude error becomes a crash. The first-landing record is irrelevant; the first-successful-intercept record is the only one that matters, and it belongs to whoever pulled it off first in your own career save.

What makes it a natural mission target: the game's physics engine rewards aggressive, low-energy maneuvers, and the Cheetah profile exploits that. What makes it a notorious trap: one degree of pitch error at 800 m/s is a 14-meter altitude loss, and the Mun does not forgive.
